This is a comic about Mr. Bill (My name is Lauren). He is a substitute teacher (I am a substitute teacher). Mr. Bill has been substituting for a very long time (I’ve been stuck in this job for five years), and has no plans to quit anytime soon (and will remain in this unending cycle until my career...a career.... any career finally picks up wind). It’s a good source of income (the pay is unpredictable) and the kids are great (the kids are off the walls). That’s why Mr. Bill is happy to share the joys (frustration), and true stories (occasionally horrifying tales) of this job. He is thrilled to present this mini series, the Sub Life (Days in the life of a substitute teacher).
